Welcome to Valdez's world. When they rebuilt Valdez after the 1964 earthquake they designed it with several large park strips running through the middle of town specifically as a place to pile the snow in the winter since we'd get so much. There are usually several snow hills around town that get 50-60 feet tall by the end of winter and don't melt all the way until August. In the record snowfall year of 1989 we could go in and out of our second story windows and the city used our spare lot to pile snow on, and the pile was taller than our house. Needless to say, we got pretty good at shoveling.

Then they claim that global warming can cause an ice age. Covering all their bases are they?
