First off just because my name is Lynn doesn't mean I'm a female.

Secondly their is no way you can have a shipping receipt for shipping the ball detents you promised me, because your exact words were "I shipped them in a standard envelope... USPS." . They do not give receipts when you mail an envelope that has no Delivery confirmation or Insurance.

I have not harassed you, I wanted you to let me know ware the stuff was, because I never received it.

Third, you say I have no feedback, are you blind ? My feedback is in my sig.

fourth I will remove all negative posts once I get my stuff, but here it is 2 weeks after you said you'd send it back and I still have nothing.

I tried to get a response from you several times Via PMs but yet you ignore the PMs, even though your on every night and are posting threads.

And lastly just because you've been a member longer doesn't mean anything, as far as, how you conduct business.

Next time respond to your PMs right away, and I wont start bad posts about you.

Ohh I'm SO sorry to have jumped to that conclusion from reading someone else's post! (there's no good humiliation icon for that) I thought he knew other than just by name, I mean I know a guy whose name is Leslie but he goes by Les- hardly believed him when he said it was not short for Lester...

I always hate it when people think I'm a guy... Please forgive me!

No prob Listessa

I get the same thing from everyone, even the bank I have been with for the last 7 years.

The funny thing is when I was married, my wifes name was Kendall. So everyone thought I was Kendall and she was Lynn.

And I still occasionally get mail for beauty contests and such.

just one more point I need to bring up

Unless he has feedback under a different name ? Then My MCB feedback is better than his.

I just looked at it again, and theirs only 2 posts in it, both of which were made just yesterday.

So I might be a newer MCB member than he is but my feedback is clearly their, in my sig, and it looks better than his.

Don't know whats up with that

Sorry about that; my fault for making assumptions about your name.

As far as envelopes go, "USPS standard envelopes" are the ones that are free at the post office. They are some kind of padded woven plastic that is almost impossible to tear, and I use literally 3-4 of them a week to ship detents. The only reason that I don't use tracking (unless the buyer asks for it) is that shipping the envelope costs $0.50 without it, and $2+ with it and I like to keep costs down. I have a receipt for the shipping label that was printed; if you wanted tracking it was your responsibility to ask for it. My first statement is always to list the price, availibility, style, and shipping for my detents.

As far as PMs go, I shipped your barrel and PMed you. You insisted on PMing me every day from the time I shipped it, and frankly I don't have time to deal with that. I have a business to run and I have a family; it doesn't allow for the constant "Yes, it shipped yesterday. Yes it shipped 2 days ago."

As far as I'm concerned I've lost something in this transaction. I've lost 5 handmade ball detents, a VM68 barrel, and the money to ship both, so YOU WIN! As far as I'm concerned you're getting your barrel back and you may or may not have the detents I sent you in the first place. What more do you want?

I don't think it is appropriate to suggest that a member might be a thief unless you have some evidence. It isn't exactly unheard of for the USPS to lose a piece of mail... Please assume honesty of members unless you have evidence to the contrary.

They are called Tyvek envelopes, same material used to wrap houses in as a exterior vapor barrier, but when I asked you the first time you said you shipped them in a standard envelop Via USPS. You did not even tell me you shipped them Priority " which is the only way to get free envelopes and boxes" so I assumed they were mailed in a standard paper envelope with a few stamps.

It only cost .65 cents to put delivery confirmation on any package. Not just for my piece of mind but yours. That way if it never makes it here then you know ware along the line it got messed up, and then you also don't look like an ass for accusing me of being a thief because you would know if I received them or not.

I put it on the barrel I sent you for this reason, not because you asked me to.

I never emailed you every day from the day you sent either item. I waited what I thought was enough time for it to arrive, and then emailed you to ask how you shipped it because I never received it. I then emailed you from that point forward until I herd something back.

SO your saying I am not out anything ? So far I am out the money it took to mail the barrel to you, just so the barrel could make a trip to you and come right back ? I am out the Detents " which I never received" and unless you shipped the barrel by snail mail ( reason for me not getting it yet ) Then I am out the barrel and money I spent on said barrel. Thats why I am bitching about it, because I haven't gotten my barrel yet and you said you shipped it on the 18th. You also said you were sending it back in its original packing, which was PRIORITY It does not take ten days for the post office to ship priority. Funny how it got to you in 3 1/2 days but it takes 10 days so far to get back" and I still don't have it". I am out more money than you are on this.

Oh ya I won, I had to pay to have my barrel take a round trip across the US. Pointless. Ware are all my goods that I supposedly made out so well on ?

Thats the point I was trying to make. I could have jumped to the conclusion that he never sent them, but didn't "yet". But if the barrel never comes then something is rotten in Denmark. Because there is no way the post office would lose two separate packages on separate days going to the same location. If he sent the barrel back in the same box it had an address label on it for return shipping, and It would have to go out Priority mail. Thus it should have arrived already.
