They're dual upper tube and barrel pumps on a single frame.

Hammer 7 needs a rifled barrel. I shot 1k FS from my stock Tib 9.1 then I got the Lapco FSR barrel and shot 400 FS now. The rifled barrel makes a difference.

A number of people have said that rifling doesn't make a significant difference (unless barrel is 18"... but even then). Search google for "fsr ideal barrel mcb" or something. There have been a couple threads about the ideal barrel for fsr, one in Ask the Experts I made and another in the Pump forums over the past couple months with lots of info.

Some say that you need to put spring on the fsr prior to it being fired to get it to have any significant spin, but others claim the opposite (although imo I find this group somewhat suspect given that their evidence is tied to a rifled barrel manufacturer).

Per my experience a .683-5" smooth straight bore 12" barrel with a bit of porting works really well, but frankly I've only had the chance to try two rifled barrels (one 14" hammerhead and one 16" armson, neither of which proved to be any improvement).

8/10 is a real fraction. It's just not reduced to 4/5.

Calling 8 tenthousandths of an inch '8 tenths' is imaginary machinist nomenclature that doesn't exist outside of our industry.

I think he meant its not used as a fractional measurement. Doubt you'll find a 8/10 or a 4/5 socket in any toolbox. Agree with the 8 tenths though. Anybody outside of a machinist would consider 8 tenths .800 inch. Not .0008, which most people can't comprehend how small that is. Enough on the math and machining measurement class.

Can't wait to get a chance to get my hands on one of these markers. I do doubt though, that a rifled barrel would make anymore impact on fsr's than it does on a regular paintball. Any difference would probably be unnoticeable under exact same conditions.

Neither of those barrels makes any contact with a. 685 fsr. Unless you used the newer Hammerhead that's. 684. Other than that their I'D Is. 700 so no it won't do anything.

Santa brought a Hammer 7.

The following autococker barrels are too wide for the pump handle:
Evil Pipe
Eclipse SL
Proto One-Piece
Lapco Apex

Only barrel I own narrow enough is the Deadly Wind. I'm guessing Stiffis would work too based on my Stiffi Pipe tip.
Edit: Blazer barrel would fit too. That's 13/16 and has plenty of room.

Has anyone put an old brass-lined stock Spyder barrels on one of these? I have one that seems to be around .685 and want to buy a Hammer7 for it .
