I think it would be easiest and cheapest to just 3D print a part to fit in that section. It could have a slight bend in shape to make sure the feed block stays on track. I'm thinking under $10 including shipping. I may just have to get one of these guys just to make the adapter/filler plate.

3D printing isnt cheap.....

$10 shipped means about $6 part....

I've done some 3D printing and if it is a small (by volume) part, it is cheap. I will have my H7 soon enough and build one. I really can't see it costing more than $10 shipped, and that is with $6 shipping.

I can send you the part file if you want, get a prototype made and see what would need to be changed. Another idea could be just to fill the gap left where the insert is taken out, and just have the radius on that piece.

That is what I was thinking about making. Send me your file, and I can see how much that would cost as is. When I get my H7, I will make all the measurements and figure out how I want the insert to look. Coming from Canada, though, so it will be a while.
