yeah. I have a prototype done up already. Basically taking an ASA plug then tapping it for 1/4-20. Sandwich the buffer tube between the ASA and a nut/washer on the other end. Locktite and you're good to go.

Just read it.

If the purpose of the 12g in the frame was to fit the stock above, how about making the stock tube thread into a bucket changer (becoming the bucket) and fasion up the stock itself to make a sliding version of a lever changer (I hope I have these terms correct).

I'm picturing push a button to release the stock, pull the stock back, and the 12g drops out. Insert another 12g, slide the stock back into position, it pushes the 12g into the pierce pin, and off you go.

I was thinking about doing that. The issue is that the stock tube I have wouldn't allow you to insert the bucket/dropout changer. Plus ASP was out of the PT Extreme lever changers.

Plus I would be able to use almost any stock that the adapter would fit, so basically any stock with a 1" ID buffer tube, which is most of the commercial ones if i remember correctly.
