Ok something Ive been looking for awhile for.

You will notice the bottom two bodys have different shaped feednecks.
The one on the black body is a press fit feedneck
The one on the purple/black is a threaded feedneck

Press fit are earlier bodies.

to you guys who have bought a millenium body, i have a spyder volumizer that i am trying to fit on the front to seal up the valve chamber and it doesn't want to thread all the way in. i thought it might be the oring so i took it off and tried it without and still no dice. i am thinking that maybe the unthreaded portion of my volumizer may be a little big for the body inside diameter. just don't want to force it and screw up some threads. are these bodies an odd ball size thread?

nevermind about the volumizer. i think i know what the problem is. it came off a compact body with vertical mount asa and i think it has slightly different threading cause when i tried to make my spyder a pump with a trilogy kit, the pump guide didn't thread into the vertical asa volume hole and siezed up. ordered an actual volumizer for the full size body and going to try it next.

Ive used many different volumizers and any stock spyder volumizers seem to work no problem. Obviously bob long volumizers worked the best even though they may not be the most asthetically appealing. also keep in mind that many companies dont have very strict tolerances for their parts so the same parts could fit differently.

I have used volumizers off vertical spyder ASAs to great effect. But not all parts fit. Id say 8/10 that Ive used fit.
