Ma-Deuce-A Gallery.

Now I'm not the first to make a double barrel marker. When I seen Doc's V-Twin, I thought let me see if I can make one for myself.
So I took a block of aluminum and started.

Put some holes in the block ....

http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/7282/dbc4l.jpg

Put in the under side holes ....

http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/7403/dbc6.jpg

Shaved the sides down some ....

http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/6571/dbc8.jpg

Rounded the top and put windows in .....

http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/14/dbc11.jpg
http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/3240/dbc12.jpg
Now up to this point I did all this on my manual mill at home.

To make the front block & back I got to use the Prototack at work to make them ...

Trial fit to see if everything works together. ...

After that everything fit's I went and powder coated it and that's the Ma-Deuce-A ......

Now after I did the Ma-Deuce-A, I thought how can I make it better ?
So I though just how much can I take off of the side.
I came up with a drawing. The thing is this time I will need to use the CNC at work to do this one.

http://img545.imageshack.us/img545/3488/1000063.jpg
http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/8799/1000056l.jpg

I wrote the program for the new design.
http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/8615/1000058c.jpg

OK now that the program is done, I'm ready to start cutting.
First though we need to put the holes in ...
http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/1894/1000088k.jpg
http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/7797/1000090h.jpg

Now for the sides and top. I have to do this in 3 parts.
Side one ...
http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/1318/1000067s.jpg
http://img861.imageshack.us/img861/4493/1000064.jpg

Side two ....
http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/1318/1000067s.jpg
http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/8616/1000066e.jpg

And the top part ....
http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/7637/1000067.jpg
http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/9754/1000069u.jpg
http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/5647/1000091x.jpg

On one of the body's I want to see if I could do engraving with the CNC.
So came the Ma-Deuce-A II ...
http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/2184/1000070g.jpg
http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/7267/1000092k.jpg
http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/6226/1000093t.jpg
http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/3334/1000095.jpg

Ok so now that this point I do the rest of the body work at my own shop at home. I drill the air passages and feed tube holes along with the ball detent holes. Now the front block & back block are made the same as the first gen Ma-Deuce-A.

Now on this one I did milling on it I call the Riptied milling.

http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/1053/1000368y.jpg

Hope you like what I did here ....

Ok at this point Ma-Deuce-A II is done. What next you ask, well how about halfblocking them .....
So comes Ma-Deuce-A II 1/2.

http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/1116/1000007b.jpg
http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/5494/1000010s.jpg
http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/8107/1000240l.jpg
http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/2821/1000247u.jpg
http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/7104/1000245.jpg
http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/326/1000242t.jpg

Doing these is a pain.
Not as simple as your standard autococker half block.

Again I hope you like seeing what I can do .....

Now anyone who as any one of these please post you pic's of them......

Incredible. The halfblocked one with feed tubes would be awesome. Any plans to produce more?

tencent 04-27-2011 10:32 PM

So when can we expect the MA-TRES ??

:evil grin:

Sinisterways90 04-27-2011 10:48 PM
