I am reading the blinding knife as well (panzer). The sequel is more interesting than the first.

I just finished the Wheel of Time series, by Robert Jordan. I need to flowchart that series just to keep track of what is going on, and where!

Same here! It seems like the reading list is constantly growing.

How did you feel about Plague Dogs? I wasn't as fond of it as Watership, but found it still worth the reading time.

Just Finished "I am Legend". Moving on to something less inspiring and less uplifting.

This was my wife's attempt to keep everything straight when she read it years ago.

Now she can't remember what they mean.

Have her check out this link. Chapter summaries of and all significant characters, items, places, etc are hyperlinked to their own pages. Incredible resource for people wanting a refresher but don't want to commit to a series re-read.

Been reading a ton lately. Finished up the second trilogy in Harry Turtledove's Southern Victory alternate history, and taking a short break before the last 4 books in the series to read a couple out of SM Stirling's Emberverse series, Dies the Fire and The Protector's War. Both are really good series, can't recommend them enough.

On the e-book side of the house, read Tucker Max's ***holes Finish First which was okay, but not awesome (are you under the age of 25? you'll like it, but if not, it's iffy), and Bill Maher's When You Ride Alone, You Ride with Bin Laden. I don't agree with everything Mr Maher states, but he does bring up some cogent points about modern America that got me to thinking.

After those two, I'm now reading Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games, and it's going by fast. They were pretty faithful in the movie version, but I like the depth the book is giving me on it.
