Sorry but......Rx vs. Ego

Hey guys, looking for a new poppit now that my pump needs have been met. Ive always had egos, but Im finding it harder to spend the money on a gun who's value will plummet almost immediately.

How do the Cyborg Rx's compare to Ego 9-10-11 as far as reliability and maintenance?

thanks!

In my experience, the RX is smoother, quieter, and more efficient than the Ego. Definitely less kick, though that's because most Ego users don't know what their LPR is for. I like the way the RX feels in the hands; it isn't massive, but it feels more substantial than an Ego. You can pick them up relatively cheap, and they're a great marker to have.

you can always anno it to look like 2 blunts, a lighter and a bag.

we made my friend's Clone (sold) look like a giant blunt with a red backcap. was pretty far out.

I have an ego SL74 but shot an 09 late last year.

The RX is noticeably quieter and smoother than the ego. Can't comment on the efficiency as I haven't used the RX in the field yet.
It does feel better in the hands because it is wider than the SL74. The distance from the grip to the HPR is similar to the Geo2.

The RX is also thinner and I like it. If I wasn't too attached to my ego, I would be keeping the RX. Seems like it's going to be a really fun marker.

ok, well this weekend, I had the crappy fortune of finding out that 7 of my friends that were at the field on sunday all had purchased Cyborg RX's.

they all shot the same, super smooth, as smooth as my shocker, in fact, and had a muffled small firearm sound to them (not as loud and bangy as an ego, though. it was crisper and smaller of a sound)

They all averaged out at around 1800 +/-20 shots per 68/45 fill.

the stock triggers are fine, but definitely are harder to walk for a prolonged period of time. They're also stupidly sensitive, you can bump the tank or the back of the marker and it will shoot.

When you degas, it holds about 3 shots of air versus the Clone VX's 1 shot. if that matters to you lol.

none had any upgrades. no gold bolt, non-yakuza'd board (militiasoft 2.0 right?), no v2 bottomworks.

Wow 7 rx's on 1 field, i don't even think there are 7 rx's in my whole country (Netherlands)

I think they have the v2 bottomworks, because that was an upgrade for the droid during the production of the cyborg rx. Aka, the rx bottomworks fit the droid gladiator reg.
And of course you can adjust the trigger settings, making it less sensitive.

The cyborg rx is a smooth shooter, can't wait for the new cyborg at the end of the year.

That's correct. The Gladiator on the RX comes with what is called the bottomworks for the Droid.
