MacDev Clone GT

Since it's been quiet around here for a while, I thought I'd see what everyone thinks of the new Clone GT. Supposed to drop in March, price-point is allegedly $1,300 - $1,400.

Gas-through, new drivetrain, updated tool-less bolt removal, redesigned body, there's a lot going on here. I doubt I'll be able to justify buying one when they're released, but I'm excited to shoot one and see for myself what the Aussies have cooked up this time.

It's fine... I guess.

I'll be excited with Macdev again when they go back to the on/off switch that the Droids had. It made it feel like an adult's gun instead of a child's toy.

I like it, and will probably end up getting one when they start showing up used. 1300 is too much for any paintball gun IMO. Macdev guns are my favorite High end gun. I LOVE my droid.

Looks almost like a cross between a Bob Long Victory and a Hostile Rogue. I've been hankering for a V2 Victory for a while, but I must say....this thing is very nice looking.

Never shot a MacDev before, but I am digging this thing for some reason.

There's another picture floating around of the back of the trigger frame. The on/off and programming buttons on this one look like they were inspired by the Ego. I think it makes it easier to do the programming that way.

I'll be interested in seeing how this one shoots. The market for high ends just is what it is. MacDev is the one company whose marker I would spend $1,300 on.

It definitely has the look of a Vic, but the drivetrain on the Clone is very different from the Victory internally. I'm excited to see one of these in action.

Rubber buttons are for fruit looters. My money goes to the company who puts switches in their frames.

Hmmm, interesting but not a fan on macro-less markers.
Would love to see how it shoots as i am a fan of MD. Already have a droid and rx and would love to see how this compares.
May wait for it to start showing up on the bst as +1200 is a bit hard to swallow for any marker in my case.

The stock colors are nice, but this one is better IMHO.
I like that the hard lines aren't noticeable
