Yes, they're all 40 year old doctors.

I'm guessing that's the reasoning.

EMR is establishing a relationship with Skirmish, the Labor Day game at EMR is being billed as 'EMR Home Teams vs Skirmish Home Teams'

I'm glad it doesn't fall on the same day as ION, I will be going to that and was kind of pissed that PP4 was falling on the same day. If this is definite this is good news to me, I will likely be making both events if I can find transportation to EMR.

Edit: I am the kind of player that loves the chaos of the D-Day game but also love pump play. One of the best games I have had in the last few years was a pump only day I joined up when I got to the field. I got lucky enough to arrive when they were about to head out to the fields and they let my 2 friends and I join up with them. Given the choice between dday and PP4 I would say most if not all of my friends would choose D-day over any pump thing so it was either go alone to PP4 or party like a mad man at D-Day.

From what I have heard, Paul Fogel (co-owner of Skirmish) has been known to write "nasty-grams" to other nearby fields who would dare to hold a game opposite a scheduled Skirmish game.

Unfortunately, Skirmish's schedule rules. I am not aware of Skirmish ever changing one of their events to accomodate a previously scheduled game at those same fields.

Skirmish = The MAN.

I think changing the date of the game will have more of a negative effect on attendance then people choosing ION over PP IV.
As for me it is no longer a definate attend as it was with the july date. Augest has become a very busy month and if it comes down to going to this or the Camp Paintball Scenario the following week I will have to choose the Camp Scenario.
Since I got back into paintball 5 years ago after a long hiatus this is the one game I always look forward to. Not just for the GREAT play but for all the socializing with all you great folks here at MCB and those great folks over at SCP.

Oh this is going to go over like a lead balloon at work to change the dates.

Blue should get a sack and tell Skirmish to pound sand his date is set they can change theirs.

Didn't have much else that month or the next anyways, cept for an unscheduled TopGun event ("Alamo").

Still a bit crazy though, changing the date on everyone. At least a couple months for the rest o ya to try and work it into the sched.

uncalled for, he was simply trying to move it so people would have to choose one event over the other.

Brim, are you sure that Blue changed the date... Just so that the Crew could also attend D day?
Well, I have to get out to Pump Pandamonium if it kills me, or before it dies.
Let's hope the latter never happens.
