10:00 PM PST or 1:00 AM EST (I think) the site will be down as they add more RAM to our server and everything gets rebooted.

It should only take 10 to 15 minutes at most, but that is what's going on tonight.

D'oh... More money into this paintball vortex.. heh...

Oh, and yeah, post above is correct - groundspeed creates lift - and treadmills move at 0 mph.

Ah... You guys are messing with my head. I just went from the Mythbuster treadmill thread to this one... and read the same stuff.

I thought I screwed up.. then thought the database was screwed up. Now I realize it's just all of YOU that's screwed up.

I think you meant airspeed... ;-)

I think the list of the three most useless things to a pilot should be Upgraded to four:
-Runway behind you
-Altitude above you
-Airspeed you don't have
-A treadmill (I willing to make an exception on this one for fat pilots)
