RAP4 Gen4

Video of 2 Mags of firing RAP4 Gen4 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Chopped my first ball the other day, not the guns problem but I was using junk paint. Also broke a magazine in a way. Somehow the nylon cord (winds on a spool compressing the feed spring) came off the spool, little bit of figuring how the magazine was put together and it was an easy fix.

I must be getting better, I just broke it. Nothing bad really, all of a sudden, Co2 started flowing out the barrel. I spent a good 1.5 hours taking it apart, putting it together, taking it apart more, back together, and so on. Took a little bit to learn the internals (where the bolts and screws are at to take it apart). Found the problem, one of the valve O-rings was broken and partially shredded. Part #13 from the Owners manual. The problem is that the O-Rings on the valve assembly are those clear, soft, and flexible ones. It met with an inperfection in the tube and shreded with that imperfection and the high pressure.

The solution, remove the inperfection, and use one of those hard black Co2/HPA tank O-Rings. Once that was replaced, the guns working just fine.

So Far in basic testing (firing in back yard) this marker is solid and has a good feel. I'll continue testing it but It won't see a game for a couple of weeks.
