Not as clumsy or random as a blaster; an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.
Flintlock Pistol - Chrono + Test - YouTube
Original build. Really bulky, but worked.
Cut from a solid piece of maple, done with hand tools. Yes this was done almost completely with files, chisels, and knives. I wanted to do this as realistic as possible (though using my CNC was tempting at times). I didn't like the darker stain I had on first and it needed to be slimmed down quite a bit to be comfortable anyways.
That is pretty damn neat...
Besides the goblin shells what else did you use? Was it pretty easy to get the balls up to a good velocity? I know the goblins had a problem.
Love it! Smoke and noise!
I would use that as my main, but then again I am a bit nuts.
The barrel is just the right length for the goblin cartridges to keep it in the 280-295 range depending on what kind of paint I use. I have not had issues with the giblin cartridge.
I plan on inlaying thin brass into it later once the lock is finished. The lock will actually be the safety for the marker as it will push a panel between the firing pin and the goblin cartridge.
I have ideas... YOU'LL SEE. YOU'LL ALLLLLLLL SEEEEEEE!
Awesome idea though! So do you load the entire goblin shell down the barrel? how does this work?
You should make two of these, and then challenge someone to a good ol' fashioned gentleman's duel.
Did you do the etching on the barrel?
