While not a true rap metal band , Check out Soulfly . They use a lot of percussion in their songs (especially their earlier releases) which gives them a tribal vibe . Max Cavelera (the lead singer) does a lot of work with underground rap artists . Here's one of Soulfly's more hiphop influenced songs .

Soulfly did a piece with Corey Taylor, which I can't name here because there could be children present, but it's a kick *** song

I like Skindred. Yeah, I first heard 'em in Need for Speed Underground, but I liked the song.
