I just wanted to share a video that I made to help demonstrate the importance of wearing proper eye protection while playing paintball.

GREAT SAFETY VIDS !!

Just wondering - from what range were the shots fired?

I didn't see that info in the vids or in the description blurb under the YouTube vid page. If I missed it, I apologize, but I'd like to know.

I do safety training for players and Refs, and I need info like that to help set up what the vid will show so the people I'm teaching can relate it to real-field conditions.

Tell it to airsoft players. Ask an eye doctor--paintball players aren't stupid.

Last tourney a player took an eye hit through the netting, luckily he got out with no real injuries. Old nets deteriorated in the sun.
The point being, you can take a hit without being stupid yourself.

One night i was playing a night game with my talon and my friend shined a flashlight at me so i shot toward it. I hit him in the eye with brass eagle paint. the paintball didnt break and the gun wasnt shooting fast enough to do any damage to his eye. he bought a mask the next day. BTW Deuce is his name.

That vid makes me queasy but I'm going to force new players to watch it when I'm reffing or introducing a friend to the game.
