New to the Forums

Hello all!
Just got back into paintball after an almost 20 year absence! Wow, a lot has changed! Played for the first time back in the late 1980's and one of the best things about this forum is the love for old markers. Starting to teach my young son about paintball, and will get him playing when he gets just a bit older.
I'm back baby!!!!

Welcome, it's nice to be able to afford the guns that scared the crap out of us when we were younger. Do you still have any of your original setup? We'd love to see pics.

I wish I still had my old gear!
My first marker was a Splatmaster! Bought it brand new from a gun shop in town.
Next was a Nel-Spot upgraded with battle grips, barrel extension and feed tube!
I always wanted the PMI guns the guys were shooting, so when the Sheridan Pirahna LB came out, I had to make it mine. Then the Line SI Bushmaster, SMG-60 and more found a place in my collection.
Sadly, I had ended up slowly getting rid of them for one reason or another. But I get to relive my youth with the Old Markers forum here!

Now, I am shooting an 03 Shocker and an AutoCocker! A bit of an upgrade, no? lol!
Still, I'm eyeballing some of the pump guns up on the For Sale section. Think I'll have to end up with one for old times sake!

Thanks for the welcome!

Don't end up with a pump gun 'for old times sake'. Grab one to use and love. I have electros, mechs, pumps... and I enjoy playing with the pumps more than the rest!

Old guns are just plain fun to use. The idea that the hunk of metal is older than half the people playing almost (to me) gives them extra cool status. Like using tools that were passed down from your grandfather to your father and then to you.

Thanks for the welcome guys! I definately want to get a pump to play with. I don't know if there is anyplace in central Florida to play pump, so I may have to play pump with these kids and their new fangled markers. :-)
hey, at least I'll save a little on paint! ;-)
