| Newbie Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: San Francisco, CA | I totally wanted to go to that game (it was posted here). I'm in SF, and even though you bought a marker already, I'd be happy to lend you a gat or two, should we ever play together (I moved from being a Tippmann guy to a PGP guy in one game, now it's my primary. I also discovered the Automag. Love that marker for a basic semi. Accurate, fast enough for me, small and light. Anyway, just wanted to follow up with a "Welcome" And if I ever get a weekend off, I'll PM ya and see if you want to go play.

The teams were random, so the others that got stuck with the two green players were pretty nice about it. Everyone was just out there to have fun. There is a rec game going on tomorrow (sunday) at the same place, should be fun. Now I will be prepared and have my own stuff instead of just borrowing. Much better feeling. Hopefully I will kick some ***. |

I love mine to death, they just feel aesthetically right. Especially the Classics and the way they sound when they shoot -- the quietness of the operation with the heavy metal ring of the steel parts in motion. It's between that and the old steel Tippmanns I love most, and the Mag is prettier and more powerful out of the box. My favorite mask is the JT Proteus II, but that's personal preference more than anything else. I have a head like a fire hydrant and a mask that conforms to your face is incredible. Now once you've got some games down and recover from the financial hit, I'd suggest a good pair of paintball pants. |
