Welcome! If you're not quite ready to make the jump from electro to pump, I'd recommend a back-bottled 'Mag with a short barrel.

If you decide to buy upgrades for the ION make sure you look at the cost and dont spend to much. Ive made the mistake many time upgrading gear and in the end could have just bought something else with the same money that performed better. aka my "spyder phase"

Have Stanchy Freak the Barrel $35 and a couple of Freaks - figure $10 a piece.

I own a Freaked Trracer, a Freaked Phantom and a CCM S6.5.

My Trracer drives tacks, is super light, and the most durable and has the greatest effective range of my trio of pumps.

When using my Trracer in the woods I carry an extra pod and can get close to 300 shots on the 13 ci. In a Hyperpipe game I don't need any pods, just a full hopper.

Come to the Dark Side - as one fellow pumper says - We have Cookies - LOL

another thing that works for the low budget: get a mask and a tipx and some 12-gram co2.

Only works if pistol is your style, but I took mine for a spin in the midst of egos, geo, etek and dms, and bow to no one.

Another thing that works is a used cocker with a pump kit, though the tank will cost extra.

Also, see this?

steer clear of the little hoppers an get a winchester or something similar - the on I have jams like there's no tomorrow.

I must admit the argument for the Dark (pump) side of the force is convincing. And don't worry, I have heard BE hopper horror stories. Anybody feel like Buying a leather jacket?

actually, that's a GXG, but it's the same thing really. I recently made a pistol my primary (that there cocker is my secondary, with a pgp as backup, for when hell freezes over and everything else breaks down), and my paint/co2 use is about the same as it was with a stock class pump - 4 12-grams and 80-100 balls per day of playing.

Just a little update,
Took the jump and went to pump! I picked up a AKP SE on the BST. Gonna rock it with a sport shot and a 48/3000. Trying to get a 13/3000 to lighten up the marker. It should get here on Friday and I play over the weekend. Thanks for the advice.

Vsc phantom with a 3.5oz, freak bored barrel, t-stock and dual WTF gauntlets.

The trick with bunker mutiple people with the vsc phantom is to barrel tag the first one and shoot the second
