I'm always skeptical about ordering any HPA tank from the big websites because I feel like it's going to arrive with a year off the hydro.

Sort of off topic, but any suggestions on where to pick up the freshest Ninja tank possible?

I'm guessing from Ninja at an event. They will be at Living Legends for sure.

Definitely from ninja at an event. You can pick and choose your MFG date there if you aren't a dick.

If you order from a big big mainstream retailer you are going to get a fresh tank though. Half the time they are out of stock.

Don't you feel sorry for the paintball stores that can't move products that have old 68/3000 tanks that are brand new but out of hydro by like 4 years? Those bum me out.

I am going to order the tank with the pro adjustable regulator. Since the operating pressure for the DYE is 150 PSI, will the Ninja tank work? Or should I go with the SLP regulator?

The details of the tank state that it is 4 way adjustable can operate at 800, 700, 550 and 450 PSI. Will it work at 150 PSI?

The tank is not supposed to output at the operating pressure of your paintball gun, unless you are planning on running the tank only with no vertical regulator.

So if you want it optimized you would use like 450 psi at the tank..and then the reg on your gun will put it down to the guns operating pressure.

Using a lower output pressure at the tank just means you can shoot a few hundred PSI into your tank before your gun starts starving for air.

Got it. Thank you Cunha for the fast reply. My eBay bucks expire within 2 hours. Just ordered the tank.

Thanks to everyone for the help. Without your guys' help, I would have just ordered the most expensive one, thinking it would be the best for the gun, not knowing if it would be optimal for the gun or not.
