The marker is reliable, the frame is decent enough as far as low-cost electro markers go, and it allows you to upgrade your performance better without having to purchase a whole other marker should you want to tweak the performance just a bit. |

As long as you're not looking for top-of-the-line tourney performance, this'll do you. I'm assuming from your price point that you're just looking for a step up for recreational ball - maybe some scenario? Has anyone shot the new WGP electro? the MG-7? that's another option for about $200. |

| Hawaiian-shirted hooligan | If you can expand beyond the Trilogy or Protium, I have to second the ICD Promaster & Freestyle. Just won a Lasoya (yeah, he's a jerk, but the gun has all the upgrades straight out of the box that most add-on to a regular Promaster) for $153 shipped.

| Hawaiian-shirted hooligan | To be honest, used guns aren't bad. They're already broken in, cost less than new, and in some cases are dirt cheap if the prior owner has no clue how to fix a minor problem. Case in point - I picked up a "broken" A-5 last year for something like $45. Just needed an o-ring to fix the problem.

| 1-866-MEAT-4-YU Join Date: May 2007 Location: Binghamton NY | Spyder VS1 is a pretty popular choice. Can handle either type of gas, e-frame, and has eyes. As upgradable as any Spyder. $140 at the link below, or I'm sure you can find them floating around on other sites or ebay. That should leave you a little extra cash, which I recommend you spend on a clamping feedneck and a barrel (J&J Ceramics are good 'n' cheap).
