I recently tried to Frankenstein a new body with unibody era parts and found that the valve is too big to insert into the back of a modern body. I was just screwing around while the unibody was at ASP for the aforementioned detents. Which work great, btw.

But yeah, don't buy a new body thinking you can swap it in

Started with a Splatmaster, moved onto a Nelspot 007, then came the Autocockers, then a STERLING Pump, next was a Bob Long defiant then a PM7. As of now I have 10 Sterling Pumps, 2 Phantoms for SC, a CCM SS-25, a PGP and a Sovereign 3.
