Pretty much since electronic paintball guns have become all the rage. I know what barrel plugs you're talking about, and they're completely fine if you're using them in a PGP or similar gun. But in one of today's modern paint spewing beasts they're just not enough.

Thats my general argument. Why some feilds dont allow plugs in pumps is beyond me. That having been said a bag is no safer these days, I cant tell you the poor quality ones Ive seen. The only bag I'll use now is one of shartly's. For one hes a small bussiness so Id rather give him the funds. Two, from what Ive seen of his actions online and my expiriance ordering my bags I know hes trustworthy. Three, each bag is hand made, by a painballer (or at least by his wife) for a paintballer. That means each bag is made to the same exacting standards that he would make for himself. The only bad thing is that I dont know If I'll ever have a real need to order any more from him because they are made that well. Need to plan an order for Christmas ( heck If I can buy myself any more, I'll buy some as gifts )

To sum up SHARTLY'S BAGS ARE THE BEST ON THE MARKET

Well thank you very much. It means a lot.

Now to clear up the thing about being made by a baller or at least his wife…. I make the wraps myself with my wife touching them only minimally any more. I do the material cutting, gluing of layers, placement of webbing, all pre construction sewing, and then my wife gets them and does the side seams and insertion of the cord. I then do the pop out corners, turn them right side out, and ship them off. So yes, these are indeed products from a player for players. And I use them for myself as well.

The same is true with my Ban-Dus as well, except my wife does not do any of it any more. That allows her to do her thing, which is mostly knitting and stuff like that. But at first she was indeed a big help and did most of the sewing while I did the design and pre production work.

I can do them in just about any solid color, and all the fabrics shown on my site are available except the "too hot". Folks just ran me out of that and I have not been able to get my hands on any more. But I am still keeping my eyes open.

Ive got a couple of good barrel socks or covers or condoms. My AKALMP one's are super awesome, but I usually use a CCM one I have from a gun I no longer have. Good ones are out there.

The CCM, CCI, and Dye barrel bags are pretty darn good from what I've seen.
