kingman hammer velosity

I picked one up that was suppose to be functional off of ebay. it came with both quick strip threads barely holding it together they were stripped so bad.

I got it fixed up but realize I have no idea how to adjust velosity. I read somewhere to take the barrel and pump arm off and it was adjusted with a flat screw driver but I dont see how that can be as there is nothing in there to turn with a screw driver.

Please help..

If you have the hammer and not the hammer II this is what otterscustom says

Kingman Hammer - Troubleshooting

The hammer II uses the flat head screw driver to adjust the velocity on the back of the bolt.

Thanks I checked out Otters site and that doesn't even look exactly like the internals inside mine. my hammer looks like a nelson my bolt has no grooves anywhere on it (front or back)... and there isn't anything to adjust down in the valve that I can see.. Now I'm lost

My Hammer A has a velocity screw right in the bolt.

However, I took an old regulator and mounted it in the back and now I use that for velocity adjustment. Much easier.
