Sovereign questions

I finally got myself a sovereign.. been wanting one since I started playing in 96

But I'm wondering two things about mine. First, when I pull back the bolt and press the trigger, it only goes halfway back. I can push the bolt all the way back so it seems to be the spring below thats causing trouble.

Secondly, my Sovereign came without a regulator. Can I just take any regulator and put it in, or is there any special kind I need?

Edit: Never mind.. seems to be nothing wrong. I went and bought a Evil Detonator regulator.. not exactly cheap but I'm itching to try it
