Seriouly, though, LaSoya was a big shot 10 years ago, but he seems pretty over-rated in today's game.

Yea, because he was ALREADY HIT. Stahl is a loser, he cheated a LOT. Most of the pro players on the circuit disliked him and several of the other Jax Raiders because of the way they played. They were talented players but a lot of them were dirty players too. Wiping, playing on, overshooting, etc. Chris Lasoya was just reminding Kyle what happens when you don't get out the first time you get shot. There are a few good reasons to dislike Lasoya, but if anything what he did to Kyle Stahl was something you should thank him for.

You know when you go to the field and there's that one guy being a turd and cheating but the field owner and refs aren't really doing much about it? Well, Chris Lasoya is the kind of guy who will rip him apart the next time he does it.

hah, no. That's a straight up bonus ball to the head. He isn't ripping a string to the corner, he just puts one shot at the guy.

Lets be fair, Chris did not write the rules for the NPPL, Steve Davidson did. In writing the original rule book with the one for two, one for three rule encouraged what became the mainstay of pro paint ball of the era 'wiping!" However in order to be be fair and place the blame where the blame goes you have to look to the founders of the NPPL, Steve Davidson and JB. Honestly If you dont know Chris as I do, you wouldnt understand he is a fantastic person. I have never seen him treat a rookie badly he actually backs off and allows kids to take him out. However going Pro on Pro expect his full attention and fury if you deem to stay in the game after you should have left the field.

Back in the early 90's when we first met it was not on the paintball field but in formation. I was the Sergeant and he was PFC LaSoya. He served his time well and was a good Soldier who was later "Honorably Discharged" after the the Gulf War. So the next time you regard him as a douchbag please consider the facts.

i dont dislike him so much for that one incident, i just dislike him because, while he is a talented player, he does a LOT of showboating off the field (promotions, interviews, etc).
