just placed an order for the female to male.
im glad craig mentioned the bucket changer threads were tank threads i dont think i would have been to keen on that.
i dont understand what 1/5 ratio means, anyone who can explain that?

^ Pressure input to pressure output variances, in this case it's compared and commonly shown with a ratio.

A regular stab changes it's output pressure by one for every 72 psi variance in input pressure.

A standard Stabilizer has about a 70:1 ratio.. That is plunger size to high pressure output hole. Generally the bigger the reg is, the better is works.

Greater ratios allow for better consistency throughout the full pressure range of the tank. 1/5 of the plunger surface area has regulated pressure applied to the opposite end of the plunger. Therefore it cannot be as consistent as a Stabilizer.

The bucket takes about 3 turns to remove. "Same as a paintball tank"

The adjustment is on the top of the reg. The reg can only be adjusted while removed from the ASA/gun/device/ or whatever you may have it attached to.

The air chamber size is the about the same as a micro rock.

Craig, would you use this in a horizontal position, or would you be concerned that liquid from a full 12 gram would bypass the reg?

It all depends on how large your chamber is... Yes,, it is possible to get liquid into the reg and it should do quite well at handling it.. The issue is that the CO2 ice will get into the system... Then when the ice thaws the pressure will climb a little. 12 grams of liquid is not really enough become an issue.

The female version would require an anti-siphon.
