What are you talking about? The Phenom worked amazingly.

I was thinking the same thing.

Agreed, my brother has one and has all but given up most of his other markers. He has had zero problems with his.

I might be able to fix that.

Someone repost the videos. I'm not into tippys enough to navigate their site.

i just know a bunch of guys who have had problems with the original phenoms that were electro with the capability to switch to mechanical. last i heard they had to be either mechanical or electro. i haven't kept up to date with that though

So this is cool and all, but it also means that Tippmann didn't buy WDP/APS... I was keeping that hope alive. Too bad.

By "bunch of guys" is that first hand experience? i only ask b/c normally that statement is heard when someone is referring to something they heard from a friend of a friend...

I just don't buy it or we all would've heard of the issues. The only common complaint I've heard was people losing the battery door. Maybe one other complaint about a leak that was traced to the brass air fitting and promptly replaced by Tippmann (as they always do, they have top notch CS)

I've never heard of a single complaint about the Phenom in regards to the electric/mech frame. Maybe you're confusing them with the old original X7 add on frames? Completely different thing, and those did have some known problems.

(I'm not saying it didn't happen, just that I find it highly unlikely that it did and it isn't all over the net. Things like that are generally made well known and Tippmann is top notch in regards to fixing things. He'll they'll send you parts before you even HAVE a problem with a marker.)

Very interesting... Smart marketing on Tippmann's part.
