Agreed, I'm not a fan of whoever is designing some of Tippmann's non-tacticool stuff, the Gryphon comes to mind. His stuff always looks like it was designed by a focus group of 10 year olds.

actually the uzi style of ft-12 is kind of cool as far as rentals go - nowhere near gryphon ugly. The crossover though - looks like crap that somebody stepped in.

i think the gryphon and crossover are fine; they look like any other electro "speedball" gun on the market. but that new rental...

it needs some work...i think with some modding, real uzi grips (which are fairly inexpensive) and a folding stock you could make it look exactly like a mini uzi. that would be cool.

we've found englers new project marker maybe? he said he wanted to do an uzi!

I would prefer the Engler cut down Phenom to the Crossover...no question.

I don't know. I disliked the Gryphon enough to not bother looking it up for reference sake but the way I remember it the new rental looks like they went tactical on the same gun. At least that's the profile I remember.

Check this out. Empire did the same thing without sacrificing looks, or using proprietary hoses/asas.

Crossover is cool, much better than tippmann's past attempts at something different. The grip on that rental looks like it may actually be pretty comfy.
