I'm so glad I didn't buy the conversion kit, especially with the Dye DAM coming out. I still won't believe it until they actually ship a D-Mag and even then it's probably cheap crap.

The DAM is suppossed to be at 1300$, that makes a very restrictive market. Also the internals are the same of a proto matrix. I can understand (at some point) to pay that amount for DM internals in some sort of futuristic milsim plastic shells. but for that crap? no way....

I hear that a lot but there is a reason GREAT things cost more than good things, or crap things like RAP4 products. I have no problem with the price, love all the hate.

Is it just me, or do paintball companies not know how to run themselves?

Mag play will always be niche until they can get mags under 10$. It's two hunks of plastic, a spring, and a couple of bolts; It's not rocket science.

Mags won't be that cheap until they produce a **** ton of them. You don't get cheap products like that until they're already mainstream, or the manufacturer is willing to risk a ton of cash on it. Chicken and the egg.

That's true unless all the features that confer the cost and translate to its supposed greatness are completely useless to me. I think the gun is great. I don't hate it. But as I've said before I think the sar12 is a better gun or at least it meets my criteria better and I wouldn't even pay what IT costs let alone what the dam costa

Fair enough, it's one of the best scenario guns out there and there is a premium for that. Time to unsubscribe.
