First strike and its clones are cool, they work well in theory, but I hate when I take one that slides parallel to my skin. I took one on my right hand it sliced me open pretty good. The second time I took a parallel hit it caught my thumb. I had to superglue my skin back together to continue playing. When it happened I didn't even know I had been hit then several minutes later my buddy was like dude your thumb is gushing blood. I'm not trying to be a wuss, I just worry for the little ballers playing. It would not be very fun for them to make a trip to the hospital for stitches during a big game. You can see the scare here it start from the nail to the knuckle. Doesn't look bad now, nor do I care that I have a cool scare to add to the mix. I just don't like the idea of a razor flying through the air cutting up little kids.

They are in the first pic in this thread. I am just assuming these are replacing that design which was really nearly identical to FS rounds.
Oh yes, those. Forgot about them already. I'd speculate on a partnership that didn't pan out, so they went with these. Without dealing with encapsulating paint, I bet the new ones can be produced a lot faster and on a more traditional injection molder.

Got some samples to test. Fit in our mags just fine, seem to fit in our barrels a little tighter than a First Strike Round. We will do some testing when we get back from PBE. 30$ for box of $100

0.30 each, I'd give them a shot...no pun intended.

Reposting because read entire thread. I like the idea of competition. Foam seams safer then the "plastic" FS fins. I love these kinds of rounds and will be using either these or FS much more this summer. I would love an MR 5 set up for these! Alas I will be using a old Talon pistol dremiled out to feed them one at a time..... got it on ebay when I bought a 20oz tank. But I am putting a 10$ red dot and carbon fiber wrap on it!

How do they shoot? That's all I care about.

It's 3/4 the price of fsr so to me that means it needs to perform 3/4 as good at least or better. To be worth the money

I don't mind paying more for a superior product.

That's what I mean. It needs to be at least 3/4 the performance. I really don't think it will be though
