Look at the price of Ion's now.....

I am under the impression that Dye is going to be out of stock quickly on the SLG and did not want to lose sales through the holidays at the $249.95 price point. That was the reason for the drop in price on the Rail.

ANS is also selling two Rail upgrade sets. One for $60 that includes all the necessary metal upgrades as well as one for $130 that includes all the metal upgrades and a $135 virtue board. That's a lot of stuff and a well decked out rail for $380.

I think the rail will go the way of the impulse. I was told the SLG will be in short supply for the christmas rush.

Punisherpb has the Limited Edition with most metal parts for 275, and the PMR/UL frame combo for 375. I have the last one myself and its a very nice gun, almost as quiet and kickless as my DM5, but off course smaller and lighter. Havent tried it with the stock frame, but for 250 it sure is a hell of a dela for such a nice gun. And the other plasticparts like the backcap, feedneck collar and eyecovers have never bothered me, and I usually hate plastic.

Cool The Point was.....

That a PMR is only 50-ish dollars more than a Ion.
You can add a load of upgrades and you probably wont be adding anything to the PMR's resale value, but do that to an Ion and you still about have to give it away when you get ready to sell it.
I'd rather have a PMR than an Ion any day, since the price is so close.
And I have never like Ions.
I have never had any luck with Shockers or Ions.
They both hate me
