uhh dawg thats not bonus balling. bonus balling is unintentionaly overshooting someone. as in some idiot decides to bum rush 4 ppl yea you can expect he is gonna get lit up, overshot, bonus balled or whatever you wish to call it and its not done to hurt someone, its done to eliminate someone. if your firing 10bps at someone your doing it to tag them out, there is a good chance there is alot of soft cover or hard cover between you and them your attempting to shoot through. thus you may not know on the first hit you got them out when 10 more balls are right behind it, some of which might hit them and if you take on more than one person there all gonna be trying to get you out, there is no telepathic link between them saying dont worry i got this one. if someone gets tagged out, especialy if making a play for more cover, or advancing or anywhere they are exposed people are gonna shoot as much as they can because its alot easyer to shoot someone in the open than behind cover. thus they want the maximum number of chances one of there balls is gonna hit them. they dont just fire 1 shot then go whelp it didnt get em guess ill try again next time. no you open up once you get hit theres still balls in the air, plus its gotta register in the persons mind that they are hit and signal there out, and its gotta register in the other players mind they are signalling and stop firing that is bonus balling. its not intentional and its not done to hurt someone, its part of the game what your talking about is simply bad sportmanship. if someone calls themselfs out, has there gun up and walking twords the deadzone. clearly out and you start to fire on them. thats bad sportmanship or letting someone walk by twords dead (still showin there out cause we all know DMW) and shootin them in the *** yeah thats intentional and done to cause pain and will lead to very bad things on the feild. prolly them turning around and emptying there hopper on you. i know i would, assuming the ref didnt get to you first and ejecting you from the feild for the day. bonus balling is unintentional. being a jerk and showing bad sportman will lead to problems. if a guy is walking, gun up and saying dead and you start shooting them then yeah you deserve to be kicked out, or whatever consiquences happen (and i advise against anyone doing some vigilante justice. it can lead to legal problems) but if they are out, raised there gun and bam a less than a split second later a few balls hit them. it prolly wasnt on purpose. or start to come out from behind cover and havent shown there out, expect bonusballs. or even simply walking and not showing there out. i would fire a few shots just to make sure. edit: oh you can also freeze paintballs with liquid nitrogen(good luck gettin it. i know how na-na-na) or 2 items that can be purchased at walmart for under 5 bucks. but i refuse to tell what they are | |

Bonus balling is when someone intentionally shoots an eliminated player as they are exiting the field. Bad sportsmanship at it's finest right there but not the same as overshooting. Overshooting is hitting someone far too many times to accomplish the elimination. Certainly on a run-through you can expect someone to get lit up and they knew it was gonna happen before they made the run. But breaking 7or 8 on someone when you bunker them or take them by surprise and get beside them is overshooting.
