Pyre Springing

What type of springs does the Pyre use? Can I just throw in standard A/C springs? What would be the best springs for 12 grams?

He posted this in the other thread, you must have looked past it.

Oh I read that, but I thought he said "Oh and we put in a stiffer valve spring...". That would make it more effecient, correct?

The springs in the Pyre are Nelson-type springs. I have a green one in my gun.

PPS sells kits with different springs of varying stiffness and I invite you to pick one up and experiment.

Good luck,
D.

So Cocker springs wouldn't fit? I know they sell kits, but I already have a buncha Cocker springs that I would rather use if they work.

I am not sure, but I do not think an AC spring will work without modification and, furthermore, who wants an Autococker spring inside their Palmer?

If you've got any old Nelspots lying around, you might be able to steal a spring from it, or maybe a Phantom.

Good luck,
D.
