Grendel, I'm with you on how the length feels a little long. I'll get used to it, but I could still do with about a half inch whacked off that pump arm. But, I'll keep working with it as-is. B/c right now if you think about it, we're just splitting hairs over "cons" (means we can't find much wrong to really gripe about) .

Only real adjustment I made to it (besides turning the reg down for when I go to the cqb field where 220 fps is the max) is messing with the trigger/sear. I got it sweetened up JUST right to where it pulls just like my blazer's trigger does: crisp and snappy, but at the same time light and sweet.

Well a little update on the old Pyre. This has been my trusty paintball gun for almost a year now. Used at every event I've played even exclusively used during the one SPPL tourney. It has been very trustworth [reliable], accurate and comfortable to use all year. The only issue I've had cropped up this weekend, lose of velocity control and it appears to be the regulator is leaking by and over pressurizing the main valve. I really wish there was a regulator output port that I could put a gage on. This would make diagnosing easier and setting up the marker after problems easier. I'll be ordering a few rebuild kits this week, I've never been required to rebuild a Stabilizer in the past so never stocked the old tool box with rebuild kits. When I get #PY008 back up and running again I'll update the thread again. P.S. Since using this marker with a brass barrel with Wedgits I have become a "Believer". I so like my barrel on the Pyre that I intent to take all of my remaining removeable barrelled guns to large bore barrels with Wedgits. Goodbye barrel kits
