I would not use a blazer with a pump kit. I dont like adaptations like that. A maverick pump for 65 dollars is a better gun than a pump blazer IMO.

So I would get a pyre if I want a pump and a blazer if I want a semi auto.

If I was buying one new right now I would buy a pyre, no question.

I would love to get my hands on a worked in Pyre to compare with a well worker Blazer pump, because I really dont seem to notice a drag on my BZ. Sir Brass was the BZ with Pump kit played with? At first I noticed that "stick" your talking about, but after I got through a case of paint it really took a good set and I cant rip off shots when the need is there.

Good choice with the Pyre, make sure you get some pics posted up when you receive it.

I have a BZ that is well broken-in that I have used with the pump kit. The Pyre is noticeably easier to pump.
You're gonna be very pleased with your purchase, FOG. Make sure to post your PY # as soon as you know so B can add it to the list (pics too)

It wasn't played with. It was new-on-wall at PPS.

Fog, you'll want a t-handle on it that's for sure. If you're going to be running CA (CO2 or HPA), then you'll want a gas-thru grip as well. I've heard great things about the cammo bodies, but matte nickle (according to Glenn) is going to give you the best "blending" ability for your marker.

I'd call PPS, ask to speak to Lori about buying a Pyre and then tell Lori that you'd like to spend your rebate check on a new pyre but need help with what to get .

Sure you can, the asa, link block, and end cap on my BZ are nickel plated, as is the grip frame on my Pyre. Aluminum bodies are a bit tricky because you have to mask off the internal surfaces (the hammer will cause flaking according to Craig), but it can be done.

Electroless nickel can be done to many metals including aluminum. Electro Nickel will not apply to aluminum..

skeeeeeeeeeeeeeered of her !

How many years does PPS finance for and whats there interest rate ?

I was thinkin of a dust olive or dust black possibly for the woodsball ,But that camo anno sounds cool to.I have a hard time thinking that nickel blends the best,,,(but what do i know) ive nevr seen it.

As far as the t-handle again i have no experiance ( but i had thought i would NOT want one ) hmmmm. Gas thru grip ?, my thought was i,ll have my hand on the pump and wont need a grip.
