Arg. Well, maybe I will have an extra. Well I picked it up out of BH's used dept, but either way haha. Thanks for letting me know.

It's my next approach for remote cameras. The box is to protect from weather and wildlife, and the reflective material prevents heat buildup from sunlight. The clear rain cover I used before would leave the camera baking in the sun.

The fan is for defogging the lens at dawn and has its own timer and battery pack in the top compartment.

I'll be using that at the runway for Endeavour's flyout next week.

Justin, just buy a gitzo tripod LOL! Seriously though Manfro are great tripods.

I'm still looking at Nikon. I'm going to rent one here in the next few months. I really want to go full frame but have other things in line first. I also have some photo gear to sell along with some PB gear.

70-200 f/2.8L IS? Must be fun to carry around.

Personally I'm thinking that I will end up making myself a studio/short-walk field tripod. Solid ash supports, milled brass fittings, etc. Non of this ultra light carbon fibre stuff, I want gear that is solid enough to reliably bludgeon stuff with and keep working.

my personal favorite lens in my arsenal is my 50 1.8. I had considered going to the 1.4 but with shooting it on an XTi it made no sense and the 1.8 is plenty for depth of field for me for the moment. With that said next lens up will probably be just what you bought Josh the 70-200 L however when I buy that I'm looking to at least a T4i or I might upgrade to a 7D or 5D Mkiii
