All of the maps have been tweaked... or so it would appear. Seems like there are a LOT more trees on some of them.

Redshire is kind of boring... one hot bridge but maybe I need to explore it more.

Arctic region is kind of cool (no pun) but it seems a lot like the Mountain Pass map with snow on it.

Anyway, TD's to the front!

Theres more water crossings then the bridge.

Match maker with platoon. I played in a game with multiple lowes, tier 9 tanks, and me in my KV were like 3rd from the bottom. There was an MS1 on the other team.

Ouch! One of those big tanks run over you and not even notice!

The whole river is fordable on the Redshire map.

Also, I'm kind of liking the T82 with the 57mm gun. Fast firing and will penetrate almost anything you will be matched against. I just wish it had a little more traverse for the gun.

Just moved up to it. Working on getting the big 75. 57 doesn't quite cut it with the bigger tanks.

I disagree... the 57 rocks! The penetration and rof really do make up for the lack of damage from this gun.

Picked apart a Lowe last night... first I nibbled away both of his tracks, then I must have damaged his gun or his turret ring or something because he could no longer target me... I scooted to his left and pumped two more rounds into his side and rear... and he burned up.

Sure, it took me about 8 shots to bring him down, but I think I would have gotten smacked away before that if I had been tagging him with the lower penetrating and slower 75 howitzer

Just my opinion.

Platoons get put in figts based upon their highest tier tank, if the rest are not up to par, well its your shame. If someone wanted to show a friend who just started playing WOT what its like in higher tier fights, or he just did it for ****s and giggles (maybe his tank was still in fight) he played with MS1. That is not a bug to be fixed.

Have you though about people trying out the new line of TD's?
There just might have not been anything else within your tier range than the "oooh, whats this, new TD's? IMA TRY THOSE"

How can you blame the match maker for that?
I'm not trying to start an arguement here but just stating facts. It was the same with every new release of tanks, seems like EVERYONE is riding in same tanks.

In my opinion, the match-making is just random enough to make it interesting, while usually guaranteeing that both sides have relative arty parity.

Outside of that, who cares? I have gotten whalloped in my small tanks by much larger tanks plenty of times, but then there are those times where the outmatched team has the luck or the skill to come out ahead of the more powerful team.

For my part, I love seeing a lot of Lowes and KV5's on the other team... usually means it is a bunch of newer players running in a tier they are not ready for.

I still haven't figured out how to discover what tier battle I am in. Is it dictated simply by the largest tank? I'll admit that I still do not have the tiers of each tank memorized.

Cheers,
D
