GoPro Mount

What mount is everyone using to attach the camera to a barrel? Is it a handle bar mount or roll cage or...?

Your dead on, most use the Handlebar/Seatpost mount.

I use the handlebar/seatpost mount.

i have the $15 walmart kodak handlebar mount and the gopro tripod mount plate (with the threaded hole)

works well, and is half as bulky as the gopro version

Want something cheaper to do the same job?

I use a Contour, but the mount will work with anything that uses a 1/4" x 20 screw on the bottom for connecting it to any platform.

I use the handlebar mount and it works flawlessly.

However, if you really want to pinch a penny, get some 1/4-20 screws for about $1 at any hardware store and attach it to the reflector mount from a bicycle.

LOL, the screws are $.14 locally to me, the reflector was free from a bicycle shop, and the most costly thing was a piece of rubber to use as dampner/pad between the barrel and the reflector mount.

no mercy thats a good video
and great idea, doing that when i get home for my GPS

Roll cage is too big for paintball, use the handle bar mount

One thing to know, the Contour cameras do not have the hole in the bottom for the 1/4"x20 screw. There are some alternatives, specifically if have the Contour. You can get the full waterproof case, like I did, and either leave it bright and shiny plastic or paint it, or you can get a mount that literally just slides down the rails of the Contour camera, and gives you the hole in it. The second option is cheaper than the case.
