Max Payne 3

Who else picked this up yesterday, I havent played the multiplayer yet but the campaign is amazing, lots of story and its a game thats actually a challenge, well worth it for single player alone

the originals were awesome, I'd love to give it a shot when I get time.

I also liked the first 2, the creepy baby crib and flying wood blocks almost gave me nightmares first time I played them. Want to get the third but don't know if I should wait for the PC version or get it for Xbox360.

Im playing it on the PS3 but I know the 360 version is supposed to be just as awesome I wouldn't see a advantage to the PC unless PC gaming is more of your thing

I wouldn't mind playing it on either one. The only deciding factor would be that I'm mostly on the computer. But i have no actual preference between the 2. If my PS3 was working then that would be a 3rd choice...
Did you finish the Single Player? Did you enjoy it enough for a 2-3rd re-play?

Godly graphics

And mouse/keyboard > controller

I finished the single player today, damn what a intense story/badass levels I would replay easily, I also started playing the multiplayer which is alot better then I expected

Finished the first disc today on the 360
I'm liking it but during the cinematic scenes
It's like they had to throw ever film effect they could at it...kinda hurts the brain
But great story

Is it as good as the masterpiece the first one was? Or is a complete piece of crap like the sequel? There is a huge distinction between the original and the sequel. The original is one of if not the best written games of all time, and the sequel is just some triple A game sequel. And does it have the graphic novel? Thats really part of the core of what makes max payne what it is.

This game sounded good and I was about to get it but then my mom's like 'What's the plot about' and The person at EB Games is like 'Getting revenge for your family' so I wasn't able to get it. :( I know she's going ot ask if every game I buy is about that now....
