Funny I was just playing it this morning. Fun to jump in and play for a bit, but hard with the permadeath. Picked it up a while ago cheap and I see they just released a DLC for it the other day. Try Realm of the Mad God too if you like Issac.

i'm trying to convince myself to NOT buy it.

"when triple A titles like deus ex human revolution is on sale for $5, an indie 2d clone of zelda for $1.50 is overpriced" is what i try to tell myself...

is there anything special about it besides random rooms?

its cheap is the main thing lol, its just a quick, jump into game you play a few times then forget about a few months.

It is pretty fun and can be somewhat hard at first. I played the hell out of the game for a while. Mom is PITA to kill. The last boss before the devil is not to bad if you can work away around the random summons.

well i bought it. at $1.25 i still regretted it.

it's nothing but a zelda dungeon clone. it's on par with the original zelda on difficulty, which is diffcult but still playable.
