Winamp offers music now? I remember when they simply made a player program, when it was the only alternative to Media Player at the time. I was using iTunes for the longest, until someone hacked my account to buy some apps. Got it sorted out, and the account restored, but haven't gone back to try again. Been contemplating this new Amazon service.

Windows Media Player for listening to ripped music at work. I use a Logitech Squeezebox to wirelessly stream music to my music room from my computer. My home theater is hardwired to my computer and my Denon receiver has a generic player similar (maybe even the same) to Windows Media Player. For both rooms, both systems have the capability to connecct to Pandora, Iheartradio, and internet rado. |

I currently use a combination of iTunes (with my 70GB iTunes Match library) and rdio (subscription for mobile and browser). If I can't get it on rdio I usually buy it and import it into iTunes. rdio has been pretty good though so I rarely go to iTunes. I have both on my iPhone and laptop, and I can stream both to my Apple TV (and connected sound system) via AirPlay. iTunes Match is supported natively on the Apple TV as well. Waiting for Spotify to hit Canada... |
