I know but I was wondering if it might be launched on consoles (or have intentions of doing so) or if this is strictly a PC build. If anyone knew that answer at this point in time.

I cant recall where I first saw videos of it. But from day 1 I wanted it.

I actually think it would make a great console release. It would probably be packaged as a pay game rather than F2P.

I'd be perfectly willing to pay for this game as a console release... Hell, I'd probably get more for my money out of it than I did with MW3...

Hmmm that is interesting. I agree with that statement. Can you knock someone off a ledge with a rocket volley? Does one take damage from falls? Can you melee?

Remember to keep detailed chatter to a minimum (alpha testers are under NDA). Once the beta starts in a couple weeks it will be free reign for discussion

Hawken looks more fun to play then MechWarrior Online.

I love how much the gameplay seems to improve when you step away from the rigid nonsense of the Mechwarrior books and table-top oriented rules.

I love slower-reload high-impact weapons like the flak, and the quake-like quality of some of the rocket weapons appearing in the videos.
Customization video looks great. They have an amazing arts team.

Hawken isn't a guaranteed success - they still have to implement and release it well, but I think it's on the right track.
