Any benefit to having both a Kindle Fire (1st Gen) and a Nexus 7?

I've had my original Kindle Fire for a while now, and just recently purchased a Nexus 7. Before I sell the Kindle, is there any reason to hang onto it that I'm not thinking of, since I can access my books on my nexus, and never purchased anythink else on the Kindle.

I do have a 2nd gen e-ink Kindle that is great for reading in the sun which I will be keeping, as well.

Thanks for the input.
