Hi,

Try Dban. I have used it several times with good success. It is also Linux based. As for the mac, I would say as long it is burned into an ISO format, it should not matter.

The disc is distributed as an ISO file. It will burn the same disc regardless of the OS used to do the burning.

it should be on the ultimate boot disk but you may want to run a memory scanner first.

Magnets wont work. Hard drives already have silly insane strength magnets in there to move the heads.

If you are just going to let XP install itself on there, then just boot from your XP disk, erase teh partition, and install fresh. Boom, it formats and installs.

If you want to get rid of it, then might I reccomend hollow points?

I think that d-ban would work but I cant find the ISO file, all I see is some IMA file.
