| I'm surprised no one mentioned Dye Aluminum and SS barrels. Lots of people swear by them. I like my Dye Aluminum a lot. J&J makes Ceramics for Phantoms. You can have your barrel bored for inserts. That would be the best use of a questionable barrel. WWA made Frantom I's and Frantom II's for freak inserts and SP just came out with a Phantom Freak back. Just to help you figure out your options... Good luck! |

I just ordered a wedgited .685 for my SHO, even though the SS barrel that Brad sent them with is the shizzle.

| The Dye Barrels are really expensive though, in my first post I said "...recommend a good barrel for the Phantom, but isn't to expensive." Maybe down the line, but for now I should be good. Thanks for all the recommendations! |

| well they are kind of high price but well worth the cash i have a old one piece boomstick and make the gun to quite. people say they can't hear me a long rang. i even hit people that did not know got hit. i have to tell them they got hit. one other way to go is if their other people in area that shoot phantoms and have different barrels ask if can try them out. that way get to see what you like. |

| I would have asked CCI about it.

| Seasoned Member | I definitely would've gone with a double vented PPS phantom barrel. Whisper quiet, and nothing has ever matched PPS barrels for sheer accuracy either from what I've found.

| Well, the palmers barrels are very expensive too. Looking at their site, it would be atleast $130 for one dual vented barrel. Thats way more than I was looking to spend, I got two Lapco barrels for half of that. |
