Razorback Question.

Howdy MCB,

Wondering if someone has a bit of knowledge to help me out. I got a Razorback 2 in a trade sometime back and have used it all of once for one reason. I can't adjust the velocity. To my knowledge it requires swapping springs. I was wondering if there was anyway to adapt a phantom style velocity adjuster (TPC, Tune Port Compensator?). I'd love to use this beast and not have it sit in my closet, is there anyway I will be able to use her without it being a major PITA?

All help appreciated
-Brick

take it apart, and take pics, then see if its got velocity adjuster, if you dont have the adjuster, then PM Walker, since he scored a bushie with a TASO bolt, which will work with your stuff, if you can either get the hammer bored out or swap the sears out, your other option is to get the Maverick/trracer tagmaster deluxe bolt/hammer/powertube set... cant tell if its a relatively easy job, but i suppose you could send the hammer n bolt to one of the machinists to drill n tap for a phantom adjuster?

Brick I wouldn't change anything. Get a nelson spring kit from Bacci. Once you put the hardest valve spring in it is easy to swap main springs. Just move from the lightest to the strongest until you get near your veocity. I have even used small metal washers once I get my velocity close with the springs the the washers can raise you pretty darn close. Once set you will not have to adjust it again.

Bacci may also still have a velocity adjustable bolt or hammer laying around to help tweak it. The Phantom TPC bolt will not work as it's for a breech drop and the Razorback is a boredrop.
