my Ebay Score! Nelspot 007

it came with the stock ASA< not the TASO one that i put on it

Its an older model, with brass bolt handle and brass trigger shoe, i tore into it, and internals are stock cept the powertube which is a 3-port Lapco #4 tube, and spring is a yellow main, rusty valve, replaced the valve spring, swapped the ASA for the TASO drop-out valve body, couldnt find the super tiny allen key for the changer's body to make it drop down not drop left.

neat little hi viz sight on it, and no leaks! need a pump handle to go with the grips, might get them all in wood later on... no holes for the wire stock though. safety is there, so thats good! i paid $79 for it shipped, from NJ....anyone know a mr. Patane?

Should be a good shooter protect the metal from corrosion ( frame and body) and the gun will last. That pump arm bolt is a lapco, not many around as most owners lost them because they did not trim the threads to fit correctly.

B, I am planning to either refinish the marker or clear-coat it to prevent corrosion; I just don't know what to go for seeing as ano is out, I have duracoating, powdercoating, and hydrographics as options to refinishing, that are cheaper than nickel-plating haha; and I don't know what'd look good on it yet.

Hahaha no, its a complete valve body and single 12 gram, not dual with 1 in grip, that'd be a custom job which wouldn't make sense for me right now (why 2 12ies to take out and waste space if I don't have a check valve somewhere?)

As soon as the metal is exposed it need to be sealed up on both the frame and body you have to have it done in less then an hour. If this is not done the finish will fail as the post metal will out gas and bubble the paint. The body is made of some of the lowest quality steel surface rust is just the beginning of the cancer that will eat the gun.

B, I'm aware of that. it came to me raw, so I'm putting clearcoat on it for now until I can figure out what finish I want.
