Not your average Phantom

Heck not even a complete Phantom. You'll see

So Saturday I’m ready to leave for work, paperwork is always fun yay. On the way out I noticed a cute little box by the door. I forgot that USPS delivers on Saturdays so wondering why it’s here. I noticed the label saying PUNISHER’S CUSTOMS and suddenly the feeling of Christmas Morning came over me. I couldn’t just leave it there thinking about it for the next few hours! That’s a crime against humanity. So I took it to work with me, if anybody asked I’d just tell them it’s Anthrax concentrate. That’d make ‘em go away.

Open it up and got the TMG; the Total Mouth Grin. Wasn’t what I expected, actually ended up being more than I asked for. Can’t complain about that.

This is what I had ordered.

Square bodied Phantom, 'cocker threaded, stealth stock feed, and undercocking kit. These were with the initial order. I liked the look he showed with his prototype. Gave a prototype look, and that’s my favorite. Flash? Style? My enemies! If it looked like it is still in development then that’s my goal! Though the end result, you can see, is more stealth and tactical combined. Normally I think that stuff is overkill when I see the SP-8 and now Tippmann’s new X7. But just a simple rail on a phantom and a flat black look this is growing on me now. At first a little skeptical but now glad it came out this way.

Why do I say initial order? I then asked in production to also add a matching bobbed valve, and Pun added a matching threaded vertical feed adapter (in case I ever wish to add on a hopper). Gave it a nice touch.

So what’s the final result of how it looks, all together? Can’t really show. Awaiting on the final pieces from Brad. Ordered a 90* frame also in black, I hope I said flat black but I don’t remember. But since it takes different grips I needed the rail drilled and tapped. So he has the rail assembly However I can show a temporary mockup.

Just imagine what it looks like for now.

Now I need to buy a scope, and a lazer pointer, and... ummmm... what the heck else can I bolt onto this thing? I have more rails than Richard Simmons has Oldies sessions.

I wouldn't doubt it. He said he was getting delays because the source shop of his ano apparently got a contract for anodizing baseball bats. Lots of bats. How many I have no clue, just what was told.

What do you have coming to ya?

w00t. Got some updated pics as I ordered a new CCI rail assembly from Wevo. Received it lickity split. But after now having finally something I can put together, problem arose. Cocking rod hole in pump handle is off to the right by... like 1mm. Not a lot, but just barely enough that the rod drags against the rail assembly. Can't pump the marker so I left it out for these pics.

Nelson style

Sheridan style
