One easy way to get higher fps to sl86II is to drill that valvetube little bigger, just a little... Then you can get over 300 fps, but then you can adjust velocity from bolt... I have done so to every single sl68II i have had... Every one works fine...

Drill exactly what on the powertube?

The brass spacers work great, but orings that fit the bolt's powertube work fine as well. J0UN1N owes me a few more before he's allowed to send any out...

Also, stretching the SL's springs is something folks have been doing for years. And it works. For some reason, Tippmann just chose springs that don't stay "normal".

One of these days I'll try grinding the valve spring a bit. Seems like that would be a better solution overall, assuming it works out.

I have drilled that pipe which comes out from valve... Bigger hole= better flow... The hole is aproxx 4 mm originally, but if you drill that for 4,8 mm or even 5 mm, airflow is much better so velocity will raise... So innerdiameter is after drilling bigger... I also make those 3 or 4 small holes on the innervalve end little bigger... So after drilling valvetube bigger air has enough big holes to inside the pipe... enough confusing??

That's what I thought you were suggesting. While I understand how it would work, I'd be pretty wary about doing it, unless you had extra power tubes. I guess I'll have to take another look at mine to see just how much material we're talking about.
